غيرعملی بکارگیری يک الزام در صورتی غیرعملی است که واحد تجاری پس از هرگونه تلاش معقول، نتواند آن را بکار گیرد. (استاندارد حسابداري 1 ارائه صورتهای مالی (تجدید نظر شده 1397))

Impracticable Applying a requirement is impracticable when the entity cannot apply it after making every reasonable effort to do so - IAS 1 Presentation of Financial Statements

در استاندارد 34  (IAS 8):

غیر‌عملی بکارگیری یک الزام در صورتی غیرعملی است که واحد تجاری پس از هرگونه تلاش معقول، نتواند آن را بکار گیرد. برای دوره‌ای‌ معین از گذشته، تغییر در رویه حسابداری با تسری به گذشته یا تجدید ارائه با تسری به گذشته برای اصلاح اشتباه، در صورتی غیرعملی است كه:

  • الف. آثار بكارگیری با تسری به گذشته یا تجدید ارائه با تسری به گذشته قابل تعیین نباشد؛
  • ب. بكارگیری با تسری به گذشته یا تجدید ارائه با تسری به گذشته، مستلزم در نظر گرفتن مفروضاتی درباره قصد مدیریت در آن دوره باشد؛ یا
  • پ. بكارگیری با تسری به گذشته یا تجدید ارائه با تسری به گذشته، مستلزم برآوردهای قابل ملاحظه مبالغ باشد و تمایز عینی اطلاعات مربوط به آن برآوردها در موارد زیر، غیرعملی باشد:

١. فراهم کردن شواهدی از شرایط موجود در تاریخ (تاریخهای) شناخت، اندازه‌گیری یا افشای آن مبالغ؛ و

٢. سایر اطلاعات موجود که هنگام تأیید صورتهای مالی دوره‎‌های قبل برای انتشار، ممکن است در دسترس بوده باشد.

Impracticable Applying a requirement is impracticable when the entity cannot apply it after making every reasonable effort to do so. For a particular prior period, it is impracticable to apply a change in an accounting policy retrospectively or to make a retrospective restatement to correct an error if: - IAS 8 Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors

the effects of the retrospective application or retrospective restatement are not determinable
(a)
the retrospective application or retrospective restatement requires assumptions about what management’s intent would have been in that period; or
(b)
the retrospective application or retrospective restatement requires significant estimates of amounts and it is impossible to distinguish objectively information about those estimates that:
provides evidence of circumstances that existed on the date(s) as at which those amounts are to be recognised, measured or disclosed; and
(i)
would have been available when the financial statements for that prior period were authorised for issue from other information.
(ii)
(c)
